Pilotage

Pilotage is compulsory for all craft exceeding 30 metres LOA unless a current Pilotage Exemption Certificate is held by Master.

Port Passage Plan

The passage plan will be used by the pilot when piloting a ship into and out of the port. The plan enables a mariner to comply with Reg 34 of SOLAS Ch V (berth to berth voyage plan) and the IMO Resolution A.893(21). The mariner is not relieved of the obligation and responsibility to consult the current and relevant nautical publications such as the nautical charts, Sailing Directions etc as required by Reg 20 Ch V, prior to entering and leaving the port.
